quite piain, initialled on the scroll handles, on a spread-
ing foot, 53А. high, maker’s mark of Alice and George
Burrows Struck over that of another, London, 1789.

spout, reeded borders, Sin. high, marked on body and
spout, by Robert and David Hennell, London, 1795,

with bright-cut stems, the majority initialled, two by
Hester Bateman, circa 1780, two by Godbehere and Wigan 1793195,
the other by George Smith, circa 1780, all London; and a
further pair, similar, with shell bowls, by George N angle,
Dublin, circa 1790, 13dwt.

handle, slightly domed lid and openwork heart-shaped
thumbpiece, gilt interior, high, marked on base
