ANTIQUE NUTMEG SILVER GRATER

AN OBLONG NUTMEG GRATER, with cut corners,
the lid engraved with a later crest and initials,
flush hinged base, 4.8cm. (Pkin.) ,
unmarked, colonial, circa 1800.

A SHAPED RECTANGULAR VINAIGRETTE engraved with a cartouche and chequered ground, the gilt interior with pierced hinged grille, З.бст. (Pkin.) long, David Pettifer, Birmingham,

1855.

A GEORGE IV OBLONG VINAIGRETTE, prieked
with interwoven lattice motifs, the lid centred
by crossed foliate sprays, gilt interior and foliate
and florai grille, the base also later engraved
with a crest and initials, 2.8cm. (Pkin.) ,
marked on lid and grille with date letter and lion
passant only, London, 1820, marks on the base
obliterated by the engraving.

A SMALL SHAPED RECTANGULAR VINAIGRETTE
engraved with foliage, complete with interior
hinged grille, 2.8cm. (lin.) high, Hilliard &
Thomason, Birmingham, 1881.

A HEART-SHAPED NUTMEG GRATER, the hinged
base and lid with moulded borders, the lid
engraved with a crest and motto, 4.2cm. (Pkin.)
long, marked on lid with makers mark AK,
Scottish, early 18th century.

entirelv reeded, the lid centred by a plaque
engraved with the crest of Somerset, hinged
steel grater, 3.8cm. (Pkin.) , Joseph
milmore, Birmingham, 1817.
