and wriggleworked with baskets of foliate
sprays, the lid centred by a raised vacant
cartouche, reeded sides, gilt interior and scrol-
ling foliate grille, 3.5cm. (Pkin.) , marked on
base and lid, possibly William Steen, Birmingham,
1825.

reveal the detachable grater, 4.8cm. (Pkin.)
long, marked on cover with makers mark SM only,
possibly that of Samuel Moulton of London, circa
1780.
